Enabling scalable biomanufacturing
Enabling scalable biomanufacturing
The world is learning to make more products from living cells: medicines, food, materials, chemicals. But growing cells at scale is still too slow and too expensive. We build the innovations that change that.
THE SHIFT
Biomanufacturing is scaling faster than its foundations
Cell-based production is moving from lab to industry across pharma, food, and chemicals.
The inputs cells grow in, and the processes to grow them, stay costly and inconsistent.
Affordable, sustainable ingredients - food tailored for these cells - stand between biomanufacturing's promise and its reality.
OUR STORY
We started as a cell-agriculture company working on cultivated fat. To make that work, we had to solve the sector's greatest challenge: how to grow cells affordably at scale.
The tools we built to crack our own bottleneck turned out to matter far beyond food. So we turned these tools outward: toward enabling biomanufacturing wherever cells are grown. Same team, same core innovations, aimed at a bigger problem.
WHAT WE DO
We make cells cheaper and easier to grow at scale
Growing cells industrially depends on what you feed them and how you grow them. We develop the inputs and approaches that lower the cost and lift the ceiling on scalable cell culture.
